Podcast: Episode #1 - Red Hook ESB
Our first Podcast!
I can’t believe it, we finally made a Podcast. Turns out, this process isn’t exactly as easy as you would think. I think we spend over three hours trying to record a basic nine minute segment. At least we learned a lot in the process and had a good time doing it.
In any case, in this episode, Paul and I review Red Hook ESB amber ale. The consensus? Well, you’ll have to listen to the Podcast to find out…

You guys did great for first timers!!
I think you should try Yuengling, I was introduced to it a few years back while traveling in PA. I even smuggled case back to IA with me one time!
I cant wait to listen!
I thought this was really cool, and I can’t wait to hear more reviews and pass it on.
Just some thoughts:
-what about including a price range for some of us cheap beer drinkers?
-how about some sort of scales for your different areas of ratings? Like a color scale with the palest on one end and the blackest on the other, so you could say it’s a “whatever” on the “hopsreview” scale of color. Might make it easier to describe things, and give it some categories so later on I can go down the list of the ones you’ve reviewed and look for particular characteristics.
-I like the overall rating too, so that I could try all the beers you rated 3 and over or something, so an online list of the ones you’ve rated would be handy
I think that this is an AWESOME idea, so I hope it works out that you guys get to do more of them. Sounds like a lot of fun!
