What can I say? I’m just your average guy, who enjoys the finer things in life, namely our favorite hops derivative.

While I pretty much like any kind of beer, my preference is with a good stout, or something with a red tint. But usually, I just stick with Miller Lite, because it’s cheap and is low on the carbs: but who’s counting?

Like Kevin, I will drink anything that is labeled “beer”. Of course, there’s beer and then there’s great beer. I like American IPA’s and anything that’s a bit nuttier like your Mic Ambers and Newcastles. Of course I have a desire to review the ultimate beer, Sam Adams Utopias MMII. I have not had a Dogfish 120-min. IPA yet either. It’s hard to find the obscure stuff in Des Moines.

My everyday beer would have to be Michelob Amberbock and my “special” occasion beer would be Breckenridge’s Avalanche Ale.
